Delete your KatKat account

KatKat by Keklik Studio creates an anonymous account the first time you open it. You can delete this account and all of its data at any time.

Delete it in the app

Open KatKat.
Tap Settings (the button at the top left of the home screen).
Tap Delete account and confirm.

What is deleted

Your account and its anonymous identifier
The link to a Google or Apple account, if you made one (for Apple, we also revoke it with Apple)
Your progress, your best result and stars on every level, and the record of every win
Your boosters, including the ones you bought and have not used, and the record of the boosters you used, the free packs you took and the rewarded ads you started
Your purchase records
The usage data linked to your account: the days you used the app and the in-game events

Everything is deleted from our servers immediately. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed automatically within 6 months. Nothing linked to you is kept afterwards. The app then starts over with a new, empty account. Remove ads can be brought back on it with Restore purchases in the shop, as Google Play still knows the purchase; Google Play keeps its own record of your orders.

Delete only your game data, keep the account

You can also delete your game data and keep your account (and its link to a Google or Apple account, if you made one):

Open KatKat.
Tap Settings (the button at the top left of the home screen).
Tap Reset progress and confirm.

Deleted: how far you are (the levels you have solved), your best result and stars on every level, and the record of every win (its moves, stars and the boosters used). A level you left half way is cleared on the phone too. You start again from level 1.

Kept: your account, its anonymous identifier, the link to a Google or Apple account if you made one, your booster stock, your purchases (Remove ads included), the record of the boosters you used, the free packs you took and the rewarded ads you started, the usage data described in the privacy policy (the days you used the app and the in-game events), and the dates the account was created and last used. To delete these too, delete your account as shown above.

The game data is deleted from our servers immediately. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed automatically within 6 months.

If you no longer have the app

We do not store names or email addresses, so we cannot find your account from an email alone. If you linked a Google or Apple account, install the app, sign in with that account in Settings → Account and delete it as shown above. Accounts that are not used for 12 months are deleted automatically with all of their data. On some phones, such as iPhones, reinstalling the app may bring back the same anonymous account, which you can then delete as shown above.
