How do I play?
Each level hides one word. Type a word and tap the arrow. Wordvore shows how close your word is in meaning to the secret word. Keep guessing until you find it.
What does the number next to my guess mean?
It is the rank of your word: 1 is the secret word itself, and the lower the number, the closer you are. Orange numbers are very close, yellow ones are getting warmer and blue ones are still far.
Why was my word not accepted?
Guesses must be a single word made of letters, and the word must be in the game’s word list. Very rare words, names and abbreviations may not be in the list.
How do I switch between English and Turkish?
Open Settings → Language. The game language follows this setting, and each language has its own levels.
What are hints and power-ups?
A hint reveals a word that is close to the secret word. Power-ups can, for example, reveal one letter or show the length of the word. You get more from Color Slide, from a short ad when you run out, or in the shop.
Can I watch an ad for a power-up?
Yes. When a power-up runs out, tap it and watch a short ad to get one more. You can do this a few times a day.
How do I remove ads?
Buy Remove ads in the shop (the bag on the home screen). The ads between levels stop; rewarded ads stay there for when you want a power-up. On a new phone or after reinstalling, tap Restore purchases in the shop.
I bought something but did not get it
Open the shop and tap Restore purchases. A purchase is added once Google Play confirms the payment; some payment methods take longer, and the shop shows “Payment pending” meanwhile. If it is still missing, email us your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.).
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Google Play: you can ask for one in your Google Play order history, under Google Play’s refund policy. When a purchase is refunded, what it gave is removed from the game.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, open Settings → Privacy options. On Android you can also delete your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your phone’s settings. See the privacy policy.
Will I keep my progress on a new phone?
Yes, if you link it to an account. On your current phone, open Settings → Account and sign in with Google (or Apple on iPhone). On the new phone, install Wordvore and sign in with the same account in Settings → Account: your progress comes back. Without a linked account, your progress stays on the phone it was played on.
How do I start over or delete my data?
Settings → Reset progress clears your games and archive. Settings → Delete account deletes your account and all of its data from our servers. See Delete your account.
Is there a dark mode?
Yes. Open Settings → Theme and choose System, Light or Dark.
